Maple Brown Butter Sugar Bun AVAILABLE SATURDAY & SUNDAY ONLY

A weekend special & worth the trip to downtown Salem to grab this delicious fall treat!

This is our version of a donut but instead of being fried it is an enriched dough that is baked, brushed with melted butter, rolled in sugar, then filled full of rich maple brown butter pastry cream, and glazed with a maple icing.  We source our maple syrup is from Silloway Maple in VT.

INGREDIENTS:

BUNS: Wheat flour, sugar, butter, olive oil, eggs, milk, salt, yeast, cinnamon.

Filling: Richardson's half and half, egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, butter, browned butter, maple syrup.

Garnish: Confectioner's sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, maple extract, salt.
