Cherry Vanilla Cream Pie, SMALL STARTS FRIDAY 7/3

A creamy layer of vanilla pastry cream, followed by a layer of tangy sour cherry filling, and topped wtih malted whipped cream.  The slightly sourness of the summer fruit pairs perfectly with the creamy custard and whipped cream.  Serve 8 slices

INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour, butter, water, sugar, cherries, cornstarchm lemon juice, half and half, egg yolks, heavy cream, vanilla paste, vanilla bean, almond extract, malted milk powder.
