A&J King Artisan Bakers is looking for a part-time dishwasher to join our team. Weekends required. We value the work that our dishwasher do to keep our production team on track by cleaning and returning all their needed equipment and small wares in a timely fashion throughout the day. Keeping our dish area clean and organized is essential to a clean and organized operation. One of our long time dishwasher is moving on and we are looking for a solid replacement to fill their shoes! We offer a welcoming atmosphere with team members being friendly and team oriented.

SHIFTS NEEDED: Three per week, roughly 22 hours a week

Saturday & Sunday: 11am-6pm

Monday: 10 am-6pm

Ideally, applicants have the ability to sub in or switch shifts occasionally on other days.

JOB DUTIES:

-Must be authorized to work in the United States

-English language skills required

-Reliability is important

-All washing is done in our large three bay Power Soak Sink by hand

-The sink has a couple features: one which keeps the water adequately hot and the other helps to agitate the dishes in the sink to aid in cleaning and multitasking

- Wash/rinse/sanitize/dry baking pans, small wares, plastic transfer bins, and equipment and return to their proper locations

- Complete food prep tasks such as unwrapping cases of butter and bagging a few select bread products.

-Thorough cleaning of the sink and general area at the end of the shift is required

-Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

-This is an independent job. Being able to keep pace with the dishes needing to be cleaned is important so that the bakery staff can continue to keep pace with their production tasks

COMPENSATION:

All employees are paid a base wage (no less than minimum wage) and an additional bonus per paycheck which varies depending on how busy the bakery is. Slower times of year the extra per hour is a little less and in the busy season (summer and fall) it is higher. This job starts at $15.00/hour and can start higher based on experience for the base wage. The bonus adds an average of an additional $3.00+ per hour to each employee's paycheck. So, for example, employees making $15.00 per hour are taking home around $18.00/hour.
