Strawberry Vanilla Scone

We have a new scone this year featuring strawberries and vanilla.  Our sweet scone base is made with the addition of vanilla powder, then dried candied strawberries are folded in, and finally it is all combined with local heavy cream from Richardson's and a touch of buttermilk.  The scone is then glazed in a pretty pink strawberry confectioner's glaze icing.

INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour, butter, sugar, baking powder, salt, heavy cream, buttermilk, dried strawberries, vanilla powder, confectioner's sugar, strawberry puree, milk.
