Hibiscus Strawberry Lime Pie
This pie is a beautiful spring treat and could be perfect for your Mother's Day celebration. The base of this pie is a graham cracker crust made with house made whole wheat graham crackers that is then filled with a silky smooth hibiscus lime cream filling. There is a thin layer of strawberry jam between the hibiscus and the luscious strawberry whipped cream on top. The pink on pink color palette makes for a beautiful slice and the Bachelor Button flours and sprinkle of hibiscus powder on top make for a pretty finish.
INGREDIENTS:
Hibiscus Filling: Heavy Cream, sugar, lime juice, hibiscus flowers, salt.
Strawberry Whipped Cream: Heavy cream, sugar, strawberry powder.
Crust: House milled whole wheat flour, unsalted butter, sugar, brown sugar, honey, molasses, water, orange zest, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda.
Garnish: Bachelor Button Flowers and hibiscus powder.
